Content Management in a nutshell |

Content Management (CM), as the name suggests, is the science of controlling content. In most contexts, and for the purposes of this document, refers to the management of web-based content for Internet, Intranet and Extranet sites. A Content Management System, as a minimum, will provide capabilities for the indexing, storing, management, authorisation and publishing of text and image content in a format suitable for viewing using a browser or other web-enabled device. |
